Cleanup looks only where junk is known to live
Cleanup never guesses. It checks a fixed list of locations, measures what is there, explains what each item is and labels it Safe, Review or Careful. Anything outside that list is never proposed, and Xcode, Gradle and npm files get their own developer group.

How Cleanup keeps your files safe
- Nothing outside the vetted list is ever proposed, and protected system paths are refused whatever is selected.
- Items written in the last hour, Apple's own caches and the newest device support folder for each device are offered but never preselected.
- Your files go to the Trash and are recorded in History; Put Back restores them.
- Only items that already sit in a Trash folder are deleted for good. Root-owned items go through the macOS administrator prompt.
