Everything CleanLoupe cleans, one module at a time
CleanLoupe – Mac Cleaner has seven tools and a menu bar monitor. Smart Scan runs them together; each one also works on its own. Pick a module to see exactly where it looks and how it keeps your files safe.
Smart Scan
One button runs every module. Clean only what is marked Safe, or review each result first.
Cleanup
App caches, logs, iOS update files, old iPhone backups, Mail attachment copies, old installers and the Trash.
Photos
Exact duplicates, sets of look-alike shots with the best one picked for you, screenshots, blurry photos and large videos.
My Clutter
Large and forgotten files, byte-identical duplicates, and iCloud Drive downloads you can free without deleting.
Space Lens
A ring map of your disk. Click a segment to open it and see which folders take the space.
Applications
Uninstall apps with the files they left in your Library, clear leftovers of apps already removed, check for updates.
Performance
Flush DNS, reindex Spotlight, thin local snapshots, and switch off launch agents that start with your Mac.
Menu bar
Free space, CPU, memory, network, and your MacBook battery's health and cycle count at a glance.
The same safety rules in every module
Whatever module you use, removed files go to the Trash first and History can put them back.
Put Back from History
Files move to the Trash, never straight to deletion. History lists every cleanup with a Put Back button until you empty the Trash.
Every item is labelled
Only Safe items are selected for you. Review and Careful items explain why, and wait for your decision.
Only folders we vetted
Cleanup never guesses. It looks in a known list of locations and refuses system paths, your Documents and your Desktop.
Your files never leave your Mac
Scanning and photo analysis run on your Mac. No file or photo is uploaded, and there is no account. Anonymous usage and crash reports can be turned off in Settings.
Building apps? The developer guide lists every Xcode, Gradle and npm folder Cleanup checks.
